If life were to pass, I would not fall,
Like the stone of Axum, like the rock of Roha,
The tide of time did not crush me,
The torrent of torment did not shake me,
I envy poetry when they call me to mourning,
When I was on the left, I was on the right,
I am Ethiopian!
Better a poor horse than no horse at all.
From the sun, from the lampstand,
Out of the desert stream,
I cut off my thirst with my hand,
I am Ethiopian!
Like the Chinese, I am useless,
I did not act like the English,
Like the United States,
I eat the dust of the earth,
I am Ethiopian!
My stubborn enemy is crippled,
My head hurts in Damascus,
I woke up ‘
Country to country,
I’m obsessed with things,
I am Ethiopian!
Like my handkerchief in my pocket,
Like a tattoo on my teeth,
This is a roundabout,
I do not restrain the guard,
I am Ethiopian!

She always asks me this question before I return from school and do my homework. I will answer her. She laughs. Tears welled up in her eyes, and she laughed out loud, holding her stomach until her blood clots down her forehead. It was strange for me to see Mom laughing. Yeah Al that sounds pretty crap to me, Looks like Al that sounds crap to me, Looks like Al that sounds crap to me, Looks like Al that sounds crap to me, Looks like Al that sounds crap to me, Looks like Al that sounds crap to me, Looks like Al that sounds crap to me. daily!!

I was born in a shallow hut that had never been dyed. I lived in this house with my mother. Only Mum and I !! I didn’t know my father until recently. I have no other relatives. My mother had no one but me. She worked part-time. She was wandering around people’s houses, slapping me in the face !! When I was six years old, I enrolled in the first grade of a nearby public school. The teacher said I couldn’t sign because I couldn’t hold my ear. After a lot of commotion, I signed up for “Test”. Yes! I did not enter as a child, I just entered as a “try” !! I was a quiet child. Slow down !! Stupid !: joy: I couldn’t communicate with anyone so quickly. As I grew up, this attitude had a profound effect on me. I was more interested in material things than in people. That’s why when I was a child, I played tirelessly for a long time with a piece of cloth. For a long time I kept quiet and played with the doll. My mother was worried. She called me to make sure I was alive. I stood in front of her and said, “What, son? Are you hungry? Are you tired? Shall I make another doll for you?” She asks me over and over again. I answer her. Back to my doll !! My doll’s name was “beautiful”. I used to call her beautiful. She was so sewn up that I could not get used to her face for a long time. I called her beautiful !! Probably like “Support the look by name” !! Anyway, at least I didn’t go down without explaining myself first. That’s why I’m still dependent on materials !! That’s why I still can’t make friends !! After I started school, I dropped out of beauty. I ran away with my new friend and my notebook !!

Our teacher came in the day I started school “A”. She went into the room and began to call out my name. For a few days, I could not open my mouth. When she called me next week, I said, “Oh,” and I lowered my voice. The students laughed !! The teacher got angry and said, “Oh no!” “It’s called Abet,” she scolded. We learned for the first time that day. I forgot what I wrote the first time. It was the size of a bean. Her teeth were flat, but she was shaking, there was a smile on her face, and when she laughed, her face was wrinkled. The teacher was surprised. Within a week, I was shocked to learn how to spell. She regretted it. Yes !! She was relieved not to register. She apologized. My mother and I accepted it.
